The Department of Hospital Pathology at the Catholic University of Korea currently operates across eight affiliated hospitals, with approximately 50 faculty members dedicated to advancing diagnostic accuracy and the practice of precision medicine. By integrating morphological, immunohistochemical, and molecular pathological insights, our department provides comprehensive diagnoses that directly contribute to the realization of personalized medical care.

Each year, our faculty actively contributes to the global scientific community with around 90 presentations at international conferences, 40 presentations at domestic meetings, more than 140 SCI(E)-indexed publications, and over 20 additional peer-reviewed articles. These efforts reflect our strong commitment to advancing medical science and pathology.

In addition, our department plays a vital role in medical education, residency training, translational research, digital pathology, and AI-based pathology. By embracing the latest scientific developments, we are at the forefront of advancing personalized medicine and driving innovation in pathology research and practice.
