Dean, College of Medicine
The Catholic University of Korea,
Dong geon Lee, M.D., Ph.D.
Since its founding in 1954, the Catholic University of Korea College of Medicine has grown into one of the nation’s leading medical schools through excellence in medical education, biomedical research, patient care, and community service. In particular, our College has placed strong emphasis on cultivating competent medical professionals with a spirit of service to society, while at the same time pursuing systematic knowledge and applied technologies essential for the advancement of the nation and humanity.
Grounded in Catholic values, our curriculum seeks to nurture future physicians who not only possess deep insight into holistic healthcare but also the professional expertise required by our times.

To this end, we operate our distinctive “Omnibus Omnia” curriculum, which fosters “physicians with vocation, competence, and leadership.” We expect our medical students to grow into doctors who respect life, practice holistic care, and contribute to the development of the nation and society.

The College of Medicine at the Catholic University of Korea offers an educational and clinical training environment that we are proud to say is second to none. Our students train across eight affiliated hospitals with a combined capacity of 6,500 beds, including Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital. In addition, state-of-the-art facilities such as the START Center for Medical Simulation, designed to mirror real hospital environments, TBL classrooms enabling one-on-one interactive learning between professors and students, and a dedicated Anatomy Lab building ensure strong integration between theory and practice, guaranteeing our students’ future as capable physicians.

We also provide extensive support systems so that students can focus fully on their studies. These include a wide range of scholarships, both internal and external, as well as the CELL program, which fosters a healthy and vibrant campus life by building supportive learning communities among professors, senior students, and juniors.

At the Catholic University of Korea College of Medicine, students gain not only the skills and leadership required of a physician but also the sense of vocation, love for humanity, and respect for human dignity that define a true healer. We sincerely ask for your continued interest and support. Thank you.
