The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Catholic University of Korea pursues the vision of becoming a “trusted department striving for global excellence through collaboration and innovation,” while dedicating itself to advancing women’s health through continuous research and compassionate, cutting-edge medical care.

In medical education, our department integrates diverse simulation-based training into obstetrics and gynecology, leading efforts to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical clinical care. Currently, more than 60 faculty members are engaged in preventing and treating women’s diseases, with particular dedication to the management and care of high-risk pregnancies—an area of growing importance despite declining birth rates.
