Department of Medical Informatics was established in 2013 to train experts in translational medicine, specializing in the efficient management and analysis of medical and genetic information through U-Health systems and EMR/EHR (electronic medical/health records).

We aim to become a world-leading institution in medical informatics, going beyond domestic excellence, by driving the advancement of future healthcare. This includes the introduction of personalized medical services, the provision of integrated healthcare services encompassing prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and health promotion, and enhancing the efficiency and quality of the healthcare industry to strengthen competitiveness.

In response to the era of Precision Medicine, a core area of future medicine, we have launched comprehensive research on medical big data and are actively conducting  related projects.
