The funeral (typically a three-day ceremony) must be carried out by the family (legal heirs). Once you inform us of the funeral home and the time of departure, the body will be transferred to the Catholic University College of Medicine at that time. The funeral must be held at a facility with a morgue, and all expenses related to the funeral (such as morgue and visitation room fees) are the responsibility of the family. A coffin, burial clothes, and embalming are not required, but they may be used if needed for religious rites or if the family wishes.
