The Institute for Aging and Metabolic Diseases was established in 2016 with the aim of advancing systematic and efficient research on the pathophysiology of aging and metabolic disorders through multidisciplinary collaboration both within the basic medical sciences and between basic and clinical medicine. By elucidating novel molecular mechanisms, the Institute strives to play a leading role in developing innovative diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. In addition, it is dedicated to training medical science professionals through cutting-edge technologies and advanced research.
