About Human Rights Center
The Human Rights Center was established on August 28, 2023, to protect and promote the rights and dignity of all members of the university community.
■ Legal Basis
In accordance with Article 19-3 of the Higher Education Act, universities are required to establish and operate a Human Rights Center to safeguard human rights, enhance rights protection, and prevent/respond to sexual harassment and sexual violence cases.
■ Main Roles
Case Handling: Providing counseling for human rights violations, receiving reports, and processing cases (investigation, mediation, arbitration, deliberation, etc.)
Human Rights Education: Conducting violence prevention training and awareness programs to prevent human rights violations and foster respect for human dignity
Research & Collaboration: Carrying out surveys and studies to promote a human rights-friendly culture, and building networks with related institutions
■ Coverage
All students, faculty, and staff members of the College of Medicine,Employees of the Catholic Medical Center, Institute of Biomedical Industry, and Institute of Information Convergence who perform university-related duties.
