Welcome to the website of the Catholic University of Korea, Songeui Campus.

In 1857, Catholic medical mission work in Korea began when missionaries of the Paris Foreign Mission Society established a dispensary in Seoul. This mission led to the founding of our university in 1954 with the establishment of the College of Medicine at Songsin University and the St. Joseph Nursing School. 

Since then, we have led the way in building the educational and research infrastructure needed to nurture competent medical professionals with a profound sense of mission. Today, the Songeui Campus includes the College of Medicine, the College of Nursing, the Graduate School, and four professional graduate schools. Together with eight affiliated hospitals under the Catholic Medical Center, we operate Korea’s largest medical network, with approximately 6,400 beds.
At the Catholic University of Korea, Songeui Campus, we emphasize not only the professional expertise required of medical professionals who contribute to the nation and humanity, but also the Catholic spirit of truth, love, and service. To this end, we provide specialized curricula focused on character formation, cultivating medical professionals who approach their vocation with dedication and compassion. 

In addition, we have established world-class educational facilities designed to strengthen the essential competencies required of healthcare professionals. The START Medical Simulation Center provides training in clinical practice and basic procedures using standardized patients in settings that replicate real hospitals. The Catholic International Surgical Training Center offers hands-on experience with key emergency techniques and surgical procedures in facilities modeled after actual operating rooms. The JONAS Integrated Nursing Skills Center provides the optimal environment for enhancing clinical nursing competencies. Finally, our TBL classrooms support one-on-one interactive learning between professors and students. 

With the opening of Omnibus Park, a new medical convergence hub that ushers in a new era of medicine, we are accelerating our efforts to take another leap forward as a world-class, cutting-edge medical institution through Korea’s first one-stop cluster integrating industry, academia, research, and healthcare.
