• When requesting a donation receipt: ① For phone inquiries: +82-2-2258-7992~3,7995~6 ② Request issuance from the staff in charge. ③ After verifying the details, staff will ask whether you prefer to receive the receipt online or offline. (1) Physical receipt by mail: The donation receipt will be printed and sent to the mailing address you provide. Please note that, for privacy protection, certain personal details (e.g., name, resident registration number) will be partially redacted on the electronic receipt. (2) Request by email: If you send a request to cmcfund@catholic.ac.kr, the receipt can be issued and delivered to you via email. (3) By fax: The receipt can also be sent via fax at +82-2-2258-7994. • When requesting a donation receipt for year-end tax settlement or comprehensive income tax filing: - Receipts are issued through the National Tax Service (Hometax) electronic system, and you may also print them directly. - Receipts for in-kind donations are also available. * For individual donations, year-end tax settlement information can be verified through the National Tax Service Hometax system starting in early January of the following year (e.g., donations made from January to December this year → available in January next year). * For corporate or individual business donors, receipts can also be checked and issued directly through the National Tax Service Hometax system. * If you wish to have a receipt reissued due to reasons such as inability to access the electronic system, please contact the Development Fund Team. For individuals, donations qualify as statutory contributions under the Income Tax Act and are eligible for a full tax credit within taxable income limits. For corporations, donations are fully deductible as business expenses within the scope of taxable profit under the Corporate Tax Act. *Donations to the Catholic Medical Center are classified under the relevant tax laws as statutory contributions (medical care, education, and research) or designated contributions (social contribution). *Excess donation amounts may be carried forward and deducted for up to 10 years. * When donating inherited assets, the entire amount of the donation is exempt from inheritance tax, provided the donation is made within six months from the end of the month in which the inheritance began.

Recognition benefits are available for donations of KRW 1 million or more, based on the Donor Recognition Criteria Table. Depending on the donation amount, benefits may include donor Masses, acknowledgment in promotional media, certificates or plaques of appreciation, subscriptions to regular publications, discounts on medical fees, enhanced medical services, comprehensive health checkups, and funeral services. Benefits apply to the donor and the donor’s spouse (or one designated person) and are equally honored across the Catholic Medical Center’s five affiliated hospitals: Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital, Yeouido St. Mary’s Hospital, Uijeongbu St. Mary’s Hospital, Bucheon St. Mary’s Hospital, and Eunpyeong St. Mary’s Hospital.
