There are two ways to make a donation: online and offline.
<Online Donation>
After completing the donor pledge form, you may choose a payment method—such as virtual account transfer, credit card, KakaoPay, or payroll deduction for faculty and staff—and then proceed with your donation. (Make an online pledge)

 <Offline Donation>
After completing the donor pledge form and the consent form for the collection and use of personal information, please submit them by mail, email, or fax. You may then proceed with your donation using your preferred method—such as bank transfer, automatic transfer (CMS), payroll deduction for faculty and staff, or in-person delivery. If you would like detailed consultation before making a donation, please contact the Development Fund Team office for assistance. (Download the application form)

Please note that the “Donor Pledge Form” must be completed to ensure the issuance of donation receipts and the proper allocation of funds. 
The donor’s name and the depositor’s name must match on the application form.

The Catholic University of Korea consists of three campuses:

The purpose of a donation refers to the specific area or project where the donor intends their contribution to be used. Donors may designate both the purpose and the beneficiaries of their donation—for example, the College of Medicine, the College of Nursing, or support for the treatment of particular diseases.

Examples of donation purposes include:
 1) Scholarship Funds: A donor who, in their youth, lacked tuition support may wish to help students study without financial burden.
 2) Student Club Development Fund: An alumnus may contribute to support the growth and activities of a student club.
 3) Building Fund: An alumnus may wish to support the renovation and improvement of campus facilities.
* If no specific designation is made, donors may entrust their contributions to the Catholic Medical Center as a General Development Fund, to be used where most needed.

Please note: The Catholic Medical Center, Songeui Campus, and its affiliated hospitals may decline donations if the contribution entails conditions that constitute reciprocal obligations or bilateral contracts under applicable tax, civil, or criminal law. Any attempt to misuse a donation for unlawful reciprocal benefits may be subject to criminal penalties.

Yes, small donations are welcome. Every contribution, regardless of size, is gratefully accepted as an expression of support for the CMC Life Respect Fund. We invite all who share this spirit to participate in its mission.

Yes. Corporations and individual business owners may donate. By providing the business name, representative’s name, and registration number on the donor pledge form, you can participate in giving and receive tax benefits.

Yes. Donations may be made under an organization’s name by completing the donor pledge form with the organization’s name and representative’s information. Receipts can also be issued for contributions of individual members, and tax benefits may apply.

Yes. By making a monthly pledge, you can support the Catholic Medical Center on a recurring basis. You may set the desired amount and contribution schedule—small amounts are also welcome. You may also choose to divide your gift over a set period to ease the burden.

Yes, inherited assets may be donated. However, inheritance tax exemptions apply only if the donation is made within six months from the month in which the inheritance begins.

No, donations cannot be designated for specific individuals. Under the Inheritance and Gift Tax Act, such contributions are treated as ordinary gifts, making them subject to gift tax and not recognized as charitable donations.
