College of Medicine of the Catholic University of Korea is a prestigious medical school with a long-standing tradition. Its deep-rooted history is a promise for a bright future!
Since its establishment in 1954, College of Medicine of the Catholic University of Korea (CUK) has grown into one of the best medical schools in the country through world-class medical education, biomedical research, patient care and volunteer service. This school is especially devoted to nurturing competent medical professionals with a strong desire to serve others, in addition to exploring the knowledge and applied skills necessary for national development and advancement of human society.
Across the curriculum, this college is making endeavors to help students gain an in-depth understanding of holistic medicine rooted in the Catholic faith, and equip them with the expertise and specialized skills required of doctors today.

To this end, we are running the Omnibus Omnia Program, which is unique to our university, in hopes of helping our medical students grow into “doctors with a sense of calling, competency and leadership skills” so that they may provide holistic treatment and care with respect for life and contribute to national and social development.

I am confident that the standard of education and the settings for clinical practice at the College of Medicine of CUK is at the highest level in comparison with any university. Eight affiliated hospitals including Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital with a total of 6,500 hospital beds serve as a place of education and training for our students, and this does not include Eunpyeong St. Mary’s Hospital with around 800 hospital beds scheduled to open in early 2019. In addition, START Center for Medical Simulation, which has the same layout and equipment of an actual hospital, TBL Lecture Hall for one-to-one learning sessions between a professor and a student, and Anatomy Lab located in a separate building among other facilities ensure that the students will grow into competent doctors as they provide a combination of theoretical education and practical training.

In addition, a wide range of scholarships from the school and external organizations are offered to the students so that they may fully concentrate on their studies. The CELL Program, through which professors and students in different years and levels give and receive learning support as a community, and various other student support programs are in place to allow the students to lead a more enjoyable and productive life on campus.

We gently ask for your continued interest and support for the College of Medicine of the Catholic University of Korea where students gain the competency, medical and leadership skills they need as doctors and learn to practice the art of medicine based on a sense of calling, love for humanity, and respect for life.

Thank you.
