Department of Anesthesiology
Department of Anesthesiology was established in 1960.
The Department of Anesthesiology is responsible for anesthesiology training and practice in the medical school, anesthetic requirements of every surgery of the hospital, clinical consultation for out-patients with acute or chronic pain in the Pain Clinic, care of critically ill patients, and also Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation.
In particular, our dedicated human resources have all the knowledge, experience and cutting-edge equipment required for monitoring and patient care, thereby enabling safe, error-free anesthetic control of every transplant operation involving major organs - including the heart, liver and kidneys - and of a range of highly difficult surgical procedures.
