Department of Internal Medicine was established in 1954 with opening of Faculty of Medicine school at the Sungsin University. The Department of Internal Medicine is the largest department in the medical school of the Catholic University with 190 professors participating in the education, research and practice.

Department of Internal Medicine consists of the infection, endocrine, rheumatic, digestive, circulatory, kidney, tumors, respiratory, and blood branch.
We have been leading the care of patients suffering from disease based on respect for the value of life, the fundamental spirit of Catholicism, through the truthful medical art.
